AKA CHIPP™ provides weekend and holiday meals for children within local communities and is targeted to be Alpha Kappa Alpha’s most ambitious childhood hunger program to date. 

We have partnered with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, donating approximately $4,100 between September 1, 2023 -  June, 2024, and Soror Tracie McKether-Brown, President & Owner of Office Design Solutions, McDonough, Georgia, who donated $1,000 to our chapter's CHIPP™, to serve approximately 100 children.  There were 432 bags packed and distributed between January 12, 2024 - March 8, 2024, and approximately 576 bags between March 15 and May 31, 2024 for both Arthur Eddy Academy and Jesse Rouse Elementary Schools of the Saginaw Public School District.
